Nej Zpěvačka
Sedmadvacetiletá zpěvačka, vlastním jménem Alecia Moore, začala se skládáním již jako čtrnáctiletá. Na tom by nebylo nic zvláštního, uvědomíme-li si, že vyrostla v hudebně založené rodině. V městečku Doylestown, které není zrovna vyhlášenou líhní talentů, však potřebovala k úspěchu mnohem víc než jen hudební nadání. První šance představit se před publikem se jí naskytla s nabídkou vystupovat každý pátek v místním klubu. Asi by v Philly klubu vystupovala se střídavými miniúspěchy dodnes, kdyby se tam jeden pátek nezastavil zástupce společnosti MCA, která v tu dobu hledala vhodné adepty pro novou R&B kapelu. Došlo na konkurz, kterým Pink prošla bez problémů. V kapele Basic Instinkt se však necítila, a proto ji záhy opustila. Následovalo působení v projektu Choice, které však délkou trvání nepřesáhlo účast v již zmiňované skupině Basic Instinkt.

Zítra, tedy 3. dubna vyjde kontroverzní P!nk nová deska s názvem I'm No Dead. Ačkoli tuhle potvoru co se týče hudby znám, na základě docela dobrého článku ve Filtru jsem se jí kouknul pod sukně trochu víc. Ačkoli začala koncem devadesátých let P!nk (vlastním jménem Alecia Moore) jako popová hvězdička, dnes se z ní stala docela chytrá a příjemná rebelka (pozor, neplést z duševně chorou Rebekou "Gabčou Pé"; jistě si všichni pamatujeme na její billboardovou kampaň i její hodně nepovedený předskok na letním koncertě P!nk v roce 2004).
P!nk se narodila v roce 1979 v Doylestown. Za její přezdívku prý může Quentin Tarantino, když vypustil film Reservoir Dogs, kdy roli Mr. Pink hrál Steve Buscemi (Alecia prý byla přesně taková).
Hudba P!nk je vesměs ovlivněna/vychází z kapel a jmen jako Peaches, Rancid (kapela s punkovým frontmanem Timem Armstrongem) nebo Linda Perry. V roce 2000 debutovala deskou Can't Take Me Home, poté vyplivla v roce 2001 M!ssundaztood, v roce 2003 Try This a od zítřka jsou na pultech cédéčka s názvem I'm Not Dead. Ačkoli se Sony hodně snažila, aby MP3 neutekly na internet, nepovedlo se. Deska již koluje po síti (to jen tak na okraj Pussy ;)
Poslední zmiňovaná I'm Not Dead má 16 skladeb, které jsou vesměs slušně vyrobeny co se zvuku, ale i aranží týče. Povšechně texty P!nk mají hlavu a patu a nejsou to jen bezduché hlouposti. První Stupid Girls má klip na MTV, je k vidění i na Óčku... tahle úvodní věc je vyznáním P!nk k hezkým lidem/ženám - dělá si z nich prostě srandu. Cituji Filter č. 11: "Není vůbec nic špatného na tom být sexy, cítit se sexy nebo oblíkat se sexy, vysvětluje P!nk... a dodává: Jenom říkám, že být chytrá a sexy není jako olej a voda. Nemusíte ze sebe dělat blba, abyste byly přitažlivé. Nemusíte mít kabelku za tisíc dolarů, abyste byly cool..."
